A full time  partner at INDIALAW, Shrishail specializes in the field of banking, general corporate, real estate, including infrastructure and project finance. He has been advising some of the major public sector banks, private banks and NBFCs in financing of various large-scale real estate and infrastructure projects. He heads Banking and Finance practice area of the Firm.

He has been advising lenders as well as borrowers in corporate finance, project finance transactions cutting across various sectors viz., power, renewable energy, roads, metro rail, ports, steel, oil & gas etc. His practice Covers all aspects of project finance transaction right from structuring of the transaction to drafting and negotiation of transaction documents, advising clients on various regulatory issues etc. He has represented borrower, lenders, promoters, investors etc. He has handled few of mega power projects, mega port projects, mega road projects, including many a prestigious projects initiated by Government of India, NHAI under its PPP policy. He has also advised clients on restructuring of the debt as well as issue of bonds/ debenture securities.

He is also well known for his expertise among the major players in real estate sector on real estate financing transactions. He has also regular been advising major players in real estate sector on real estate financing transactions involving development of commercial projects, extensive due diligence over land acquisition/ aggregation and necessary approvals thereunder, etc.

He has been regularly approached by lenders as well as corporates for general corporate advisory on variety of subjects including regulatory compliance, company law, banking, insolvency, real estate, tax laws, labour laws, IPR, media laws, municipal laws etc.

Prior to joining the Firm, Shrishail was working with Link Legal India Law Services (Mumbai). He also worked with Dhir & Dhir Associates (Mumbai), Haynes & Boone LLP (USA) and Deutsche Bank Operations India (Mumbai). He is an alumnus of National Law School of India University, Bangalore.
